We provide care for homeless, abandoned and neglected cats and dogs, and arrange adoptions into responsible forever homes.  Find out more about us.

Our primary requirement is for volunteers to come and help out with the dogs at our refuge. This includes the following routine tasks:

• Walking dogs

• Helping with training

• Feeding

• Scooping poop

• Washing dishes

• Keeping the refuge clean 


• and of course PLAYING WITH THE DOGS! 

 

We welcome volunteers who are:

• Over the age of 18 who love dogs and care about their welfare and well-being.

• Children from the age of 12+ who actively help and are accompanied by their parent.  (The PATA refuge is not an entertainment venue for children).

 

After we receive your application, we will contact you to arrange an orientation and training session. All information provided in this form will be kept confidential.
