A little bit about him: Angelo has quickly become a crowd's favorite. His kind nature and deep eyes have an impact on everyone who meets him. Angelo is a sensitive, affectionate but also super enthusiastic young male. People who got the chance to meet him can tell you how well behaved and sweet he is. Our beautiful boy checks all the boxes! He will fill your home with joy. Get ready for a one of a kind companionship with this giant sweetheart!
His story: We received a call about an abused dog. Angelo was suffering from tick fever, anemia and a really bad ear infection which caused him to scratch and bleed. Thankfully with love and care he quickly recovered from his past traumas and is now back to the best version of himself!

A little about her: Meet Beth the heartwarming pooch whose bright eyes and wagging tail bring joy to everyone she meets. Full of playful energy and boundless enthusiasm Beth loves playtime and is a loyal loving companion who knows just how to make your day brighter with her affectionate nature and joyful spirit. This smart girl will fill your home with joy for sure! Beth will need someone on the more active side as she is full of life and energy. But she's also really smart and good with training so her foster mom says she's a really good girl.
Her story: When we found Beth, she was in a terrible shape to say the least. She was incredibly emaciated, really anemic, and had such a bad case of papilloma, even our vet had never seen anything like it. After months of treatment and love, she’s back on her paws and she’s just ready to discover the world and enjoy every single second of life.
Chaz

A little about him: Chaz is a really sweet boy. He's incredibly loving and loyal but he also knows how to have fun. He adores his walks by the beach and has a lot of fun with all his fur friends here at PATA. But looking into his eyes we can tell all he really wants is a place to call home and a family to love. Our handsome mate needs a new beginning. Could it be with you?
His story: When we found Chaz he was suffering from tick fever, anemia and had a suspicious cough. Fast fprward a month later he's doing amazing and we couldn't be happier. Chaz is ready to find his forever home!
Holly

A little about her: Holly is the life of the party! She's come a long way since we first got her. As a result, she's eager to enjoy every second of this new life. Holly is pretty high energy and she is really playful. She gets along with everybody and has a couple of females BFFs here at PATA! We think she had no idea what life could be before we rescued her. She's slowly learning to behave like a dog and overcome some of her fears. We can tell she will be incredibly grateful and loyal to her forever human.
Her story: We received several messages about a dog running around with a rope embedded around her neck. We have no idea what her story is exactly but what we can tell you for sure is that Holly is learning to put her awful past behind her and finally enjoy life.
Gypsy

A little bit about her: Gypsy is quite a personality. Although it took some time to get her to feel a little more relaxed around us, it didn't take too long for her to want to make friends and run around with her new fur buddies! While she can be incredibly shy at first, Gypsy is worth meeting. Those eyes will look righ into your soul and will ask you to go back home with her! She will a playful, loving and fun companion for sure! Get ready for an amazing and energetic pup!
Her story: Gypsy just showed up out of nowhere at someone's place. She wouldn't leave but her helpers had to. Rescuing her and making her feel safe has been incredibly difficult. While she was healthy and just had been castrated, she seemed incredibly scared. We desperately tried to find her owners but nobody asked for her.
Marty

A little bit about him: Marty is an handsome male! But he’s also quite a personality. Marty is a free spirit and he would be best suited with active owners or at least space to wander around. He loves to explore his surroundings and is very much a free spirit. He’s also incredibly affectionate, loyal, and just fun! He gets along with other dogs and seems to adore kids. Are you ready for the Marty stare? His deep and dreamy gaze will make you fall in love for sure!
His story: Marty had been seen on and off for several months in different places around Samara. When we were finally able to rescue him, he was pretty healthy. We then assumed he had an owner but nobody ever asked for him. He’s been in foster for a couple of months now and is finally ready for his forever home. is now back to the best version of himself!
Megan

A little about her: Megan is a really kind, really sweet soul. She gets along perfectly with other dogs (she's currently in a foster home with 3 fur friends) and is just overall really delicate and respectful. She's a smart, playful, young female who will be a very loving and very loyal companion. She's super good with kids and will for sure bring happiness and joy to your family!
Her story: Megan randomly showed up at someone's place. She was suffering from tick fever, anemia and malnutrition. She also had a bad eye infection. Thankfully she's now a complete different dog and is ready for the adventure of a lifetime with you!

A little bit about him: Neo is a precious soul. It took him a minute to realize he was safe with us but thankfully he eventually did and then we were lucky enough to witness it. His amazing personality finally starts to show and we can tell you, Neo is a very loving, very affectionate boy. He can be really playful with his fur mates too. Sometimes he still gets scared though, as he’s had a difficult start in life. He might need a minute to realize he can trust you. But we just know Neo will be very loyal and will always look up to his person! Could you be the one for him?
His story: Neo was found really sick and emaciated. He had lost almost all of his fur but the biggest damage he suffered was definitely emotional. Thankfully nothing love and patience couldn’t heal. He’s now become this wonderful boy and we can’t wait to see him find his forever home.

A little bit about her: Padma is a bundle of joy! We never expected her to be that playful and that excited about…everything. She’s been through a lot but that didn’t turn her into a resentful being, quite the opposite! She knows she has a second shot at life and she’s determined to enjoy every single second of it. Padma is a really energetic, enthusiastic, happy-go-lucky girl! We think she would be better off in an active home but what she needs the most is the love she’s been lacking all of her short life. Her story: We received a call about Padma really early in the morning and dropped everything to go get her. She was incredibly emaciated, anemic, suffered from tick fever and mange. For the first couple of days, we were worried she wouldn’t make it. Yet if you saw her today, you wouldn’t believe what she’s been through. She’s fully recovered now! All she’s missing is a forever loving home.

A little bit about her: Little Pippa is looking for her forever home! This beautiful pup has come a long way since her rescue. She has been in foster with a dog trainer who has helped her overcome some reactivity, anxiety and OCD behaviors. She is now ready for her forever home! She is smart, sweet, affectionate and loyal. However, she would do best with an owner who is patient, has an understanding of the breed, and is willing to learn how to help Pippa feel relaxed and safe. Her story: Pippa was living in a tiny square, tied up 24/7. While her health wasn’t too concerning when we first found her, we knew she had been emotionally damaged. She’s come a really long way and we wish nothing but seeing her thrive in a loving forever home.

A little bit about her: Sansa is an adorable, high energy, super smart pup! Since she's been hanging around dogs from a pretty young age, she's really social and playful. She is also really intelligent which makes her training pretty easy and fun! Sansa gets along with everybody and she loves being around humans too. She's really sweet and affectionate. She will definitely be a fascinating and joyful companion to have by your side. Are you tempted?
Her story: Sansa had been abandoned down the road. Thankfully a kind couple found her and took care of her before handling her over to us. Sansa was anemic and had parasites but she quickly bounced back. Actually, she had been adopted but her family didn't bother to take her with them when they moved to another part of the country. We hope Sansa finds her real forever home this time and never has to face abandonment ever again.
Tessa

A little bit about her: Tessa is a really fun young female. She's an incredibly energetic, enthusiastic and joyful girl. Don't get us wrong, she loves to get some cuddles and is really affectionate. She gets along with everybody and if you come visit us you'll probably see her running around with all of her friends! Tessa has faced some challenges in her early life but she's resilient and has a good heart. We know she will bring a lot of joy and love into her human's home. Could that be you?
Her story: Tessa had been abandoned at the gas station while on heat. When we came to pick her up, she just ran towards us as if she knew she was safe. Tessa was a bit anemic but overall pretty good. The saddest part of Tessa's story is undoubtedly that she got dumped again by the family who adopted her. They were moving in another part of the country but didn't bother to take her. So she's now back with us and we hope this time she will find a forever loving home.

Baloo

A little about him: Baloo is one of the sweetest males we've ever seen. This sweetheart just wants to lay by your side and cuddle. Although we could tell he was a bit uneasy at first, he got used to being petted and is now loving it. He might even lick your nose to thank you for the attention! This angel will be a very loyal, very caring, very loving best friend. He won't be up for adoption as someone already agreed to adopt him once he's finished with his treatment.
His story: Baloo was found abandoned, really emaciated, badly anemic, suffering from tick fever and a bad skin condition. He's currently under our care and should hopefully be adopted when he's fully recovered.
Rico

A little about him: Rico has been in foster for a couple of days before joining us. We'll tell you more about him as we get to know him. :)
His story: Rico was found abandoned near Punta Islita. A kind soul decided to help him and offered to foster him for a couple of days because the refuge was full. Rico's initial vet check up showed extreme anemia and a bad skin condition. Rico suffers from tick fever and its consequences: an uveitis prevents him from seeing properly from one eye. Extremely emaciated and pretty withdrawn at first, we hope Rico will soon feel better.
Billy Bob

A little about him: Billy Bob has an incredible joyful energy even though he's under treatment. He shows us on a daily basis what a funny, playful and amazing boy he is. Billy Bob is young and well socialized. He gets along with everyone here at PATA and always makes the volunteers smile? He's a really kind and happy pup. He's really affectionate too and loves to get cuddles. You won't be having a sad day with a dog like him by your side.
His story: Billy Bob suddenly appeared in the Samara area but nobody knew who he was. Poor baby is suffering from tick fever, anemia and a skin condition.
Our hearts are full of joy as we celebrate our adopted dogs who will soon be heading to their forever homes! Some of our furry friends are waiting for flight volunteers to take them to the U.S. and Canada, while others are just a step away from joining their new families.
We understand that sometimes new owners face delays, and we are happy to hold onto our beloved dogs until the perfect moment.
